Notice of office move
On Wednesday, Aug. 31, the Utility Billing office will be closed while staff moves into the new Municipal Complex.
The Utility Department strives to provide outstanding customer service for the neighbors and businesses of Anna. We partner with CARDS to make sure your needs are met for trash and recycling services.
The City of Anna Utility Billing Department is responsible for customer services related to water, sewer, trash, and recycling. We can assist you with:
- Setting up new service
- Disconnecting service
- Account changes
- Work orders
Customers are billed on a monthly basis. The monthly services on the utility bill are fees related to council-approved rates for water, sewer, and trash services. The Utility Billing Department is always happy to explain in detail anything relating to your utility bill. Our team is ready to assist you with general inquiries relating to the City of Anna utility services.
We can be reached Monday though Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 972-924-2432. We welcome you to use our online services to print forms and pay your utility bill online.
For emergencies after 5 p.m., call 214-585-7725.
Account Information and Public Records Requests
The state of Texas prohibits the release of any utility account information without a customer’s specific written permission. Effective June 18, 2021, City utility customers who wish “opt in” for release of other account information such as water consumption, late payments or water cutoff history must complete an online form and submit proof of identity at the Utility Billing customer service windows at Anna Municipal Annex, 101 S Powell Parkway.
For those who wish to keep their account information private, no action is required. All accounts have been marked as private as of June 2021. Information which cannot be identified with names or addresses can still be released.
