Registered Sex Offenders 

The City of Anna, Texas, provides sex offender alerts for informational purposes. While good faith efforts have been made to supply the most current and accurate information available, the City cannot guarantee that the information contained herein is current or accurate. 

For current information about registered sex offenders, please get in touch with the City of Anna Police Department or access the Texas Department of Public Safety's website. On the DPS website, a search by your street address and city will provide information on sex offenders living in the City of Anna and Anna's Extra Territorial Jurisdiction. 

The Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) implemented a comprehensive website to allow for public access to sex offender registration (SOR) information within the State of Texas. This information is reported, collected, and disseminated pursuant to Chapter 62, of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure.

The TxDPS is the state's designated repository of SOR information. Offenders report to local criminal justice agencies (Anna Police Department), which collect and submit registration information to the registry. The TxDPS does not separately confirm the accuracy of the reported information. Please report any errors on the registry to the local criminal justice agency that submitted the information to investigate and update the records if appropriate.
