Anna Housing Finance Corporation
About the Corporation
The Anna Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) was created in 2021 by the City of Anna and operates pursuant to Chapter 394, Local Government Code, as amended. The AHFC plays a key role in the financing of affordable rental housing developments in the City through the issuance of tax-exempt private activity bonds that are typically also financed with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTCs). The primary function of the AHFC is to issue single-family and multi-family bonds for the financing of reasonably priced housing.
Current Projects
The AHFC partnered with JPI to develop Parmore Senior Living, a luxury independent living community with 185 apartment homes for seniors 55 and older. Located on the northwest corner of Florence Way and East Finley Boulevard, the project includes a furnished clubhouse, fitness center, craft room, library and a resort-style pool with cabanas. Leasing is expected to begin next spring with anticipated move-in of early fall 2023. View more information.
