The work may be performed by the Homeowner without the use of a contractor providing the person Applying is the legal property owner, the property is the Homestead, and no one will be hired to do the work. In the event that the work is determined to be substandard by the City Inspector, or it is determined by the Building Official that you are unable to make the necessary corrections, you certify that you will employ the appropriate licensed contractor registered with the City of Anna to correct the violations and complete the work under a separate permit; and understand that failure to comply with this affidavit for the violation of any City ordinance or code could result in the issuance of citations into municipal court, suspension of the permit, the revocation of the Certificate of Occupancy for this property and/ or other legal remedies.
