In 2022, the Keep Anna Beautiful committee embarked on a unique beautification project for the City of Anna, a Prairie Restoration Garden. Located in Natural Springs Park, this garden features a walking path, bench seating, and educational signage focusing on the animals and insects that will benefit from native florals and grasses.
In the Fall of 2022, the area was seeded with a native flower mix and a prairie grass mix. Seeds were purchased through a grant from the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
2025 update: Anna High School Beta Club volunteered by reseeding the garden, so we can expected even more blooms in the spring.
