2024 Practice Schedule Feb 12 - March 17

Athletic Field Weather Updates - Updated by 3pm if status has changed. 

Dates

  • Early registration November 1, 2023 - January 3, 2024.
  • Late Registration January 4, 2024 - January 28, 2024.
  • Coaches meeting and draft February 6.  There will be no skills assessment, players do not need to attend.
  • Game schedule will be provided by The City of Princeton on March 8.
  • Season starts March 18.
  • All T-ball will be played Anna vs Anna in Anna on Saturdays.  6U will be able to play the League Tournament at the end of the season with the other cities. 
  • Game Days: 4U and 6U T-Ball will be on Saturdays. 8U Baseball and Softball will be on Tuesdays and Fridays. 10U and 12U Baseball and Softball will be on Mondays and Thursdays.
  • Practices are scheduled by each team's head coach.  Practices start the week of February 12.  
  • End of season tournament for 6U - 12U May 16 - 19, 2024.

League Rules

  • The City of Anna T-Ball & Baseball programs adhere to the rules set forth by NFHS.
  • The City of Anna Softball program adheres to the rules set forth by USA/ASA Softball.
  • The City of Anna Baseball, Softball and T-Ball programs also adhere to the Princeton Youth Sport General League Rules

Spring 2024 Age Eligibility

  • 4U Co-ed T-Ball: 5/1/2019 – 4/30/2021
  • 6U Co-ed T-Ball: 5/1/2017 – 4/30/2019
  • 8U Baseball: 5/1/2015 – 4/30/2017
  • 8U Softball: 1/1/2015 – 12/31/2017
  • 10U Baseball: 5/1/2013 – 4/30/2015  
  • 10U Softball: 1/1/2013 – 12/31/2014 
  • 12U Baseball: 5/1/2011 – 4/30/2013
  • 12U Softball: 1/1/2011 – 12/31/2013 

A child may play up a division.  Please register them in their correct age group then email staff the request to move them to a different division.  There is a difference in fees from T-Ball to Softball and Baseball, so a balance will be owed if moved from the younger divisions to the older ones.

Interested in coaching?

If you would like to make a positive impact in a young person’s life, please consider volunteering. Coach Registration opens October 22.  All volunteer head and assistant coaches are required to complete the following before practices begin:

  • Volunteer Coach Registration
  • Volunteer Application 
  • Completion of a background check (background check email will be sent after volunteer application is received)
  • Completion of SafeSport training (link send after background check is completed)
  • Acknowledgement and understanding of coaches and players code of conduct, league rules and procedures for scheduling of practices
  • Attend mandatory coaches’ meeting/draft on February 6th at 6:00 pm. 

Notes: Assignment of a team, team color and name, and priority of the scheduling of practices will be given based on a timestamp of the completion of the aforementioned processes (with the exclusion of the coaches’ meeting/draft attendance). 

Assistant coaches must be confirmed by the head coach prior to team placement.
