- Registration deadline: Feb. 15
- Meet the Coaches: Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m.
- Opening Day Ceremony: Saturday, March 18
- T-Ball start date: Saturday, March 18
- 8U – 12U start date: Monday, March 20
- 6U-12U post season tournament: Thursday, May 18 to Saturday, May 20

- 10U Softball: 1/1/2012 – 12/31/2013
- 12U Baseball: 5/1/2010 – 4/30/2012
- 12U Softball: 1/1/2010– 12/31/2011

Participating Cities
The league is comprised of the following cities: Princeton, Blue Ridge, Farmersville, Melissa and Bland (Merit).
League Rules
- The City of Anna T-Ball & Baseball programs adhere to the rules set forth by NFHS.
- The City of Anna Softball program adheres to the rules set forth by USA/ASA Softball.
- In addition, the City of Anna Baseball, Softball and T-Ball programs also adhere to the Princeton Youth Sport General League Rules.
Creation of Teams
- 4U and 6U Co-ed T-Ball teams will be created/selected by Recreation Staff
- 8U – 12U Baseball and Softball teams will be created/selected by a draft
If you would like to request that your child be placed with a specific player or coach, please email staff. Staff will provide coaches with the requests to be considered during the draft. Note: We cannot guarantee that all requests will be accommodated.
Draft (8U-12U Baseball and Softball)
- Head coaches will be able to retain three (3) players from their previous years roster (will count as first 3 picks of current year)
- Draft positions will then be selected by a hat draw
- Draft will then be a “snake” draft style
Interested in coaching?
If you would like to make a positive impact in a young person’s life, please consider volunteering. All volunteers will be required to complete the following:
- Completion of Volunteer Coach Interest Registration
- Completion of Volunteer Application (Link to be sent following Volunteer Coach Interest Registration)
- Acknowledgement of understanding of coaches and players code of conduct, league rules and practice scheduling procedures
- Completion of a background check
- Completion of SafeSport training
- Attend mandatory coaches’ meeting/draft on Thursday, Feb. 16 (time TBD)
Notes: Assignment of a team and priority of the scheduling of practices will be given based on a timestamp of the completion of the aforementioned processes (with the exclusion of the coaches’ meeting/draft attendance).
Additionally, confirmation with a head coach of their assistant coach will take place prior to assigning an assistant coach to a team.
