Who Maintains My Road?

The City of Anna has many county roads which are known as mutual boundary roads.  See below to find out more:

What is a Mutual Boundary Road?
A Mutual Boundary Road is a County Road which has partially been included into the City Limits.  Some of the road is in the City of Anna, and some of the road is in Collin County Unincorporated.

Who Maintains Mutual Boundary Roads?
The maintenance of Mutual Boundary Roads is split based on the location of the specific section of road.  You may see "County Maintenance Begins" and "County Maintenance Ends" signs posted by Collin County along a road.  The City of Anna and Collin County do sometimes partner to complete maintenance and repair of a County Road together at the same time.  However, due to budget processes for both the County and the City, this is not always possible.

How do I know which part is the City's Responsibility?
